Trae Morris is an artist/entertainer with a rich, earthy vocal tone, a polished falsetto, and a sound rooted in soul, vulnerability, and timeless storytelling. Born in Mississippi and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Trae brings Southern depth, emotional honesty, and modern R&B elegance into every song he creates.

Now managed by One Degree Entertainment, Trae is entering a new creative chapter built around growth, intention, and deeper connection with his audience. His music speaks to listeners who still believe R&B should make you feel something — love, longing, healing, desire, reflection, and everything in between.

With vocal textures reminiscent of John Legend and Sam Smith, Trae Morris has built his artistry around emotional honesty and intimate storytelling. His journey began in 2014 after signing with vHIZions Management for artist development, leading to the co-writing and release of his debut single, “Deeper.”

​

After relocating to Atlanta in 2015, Trae expanded his creative network and aligned with the JP Agency, connecting him with industry talent tied to major entertainment platforms and nationally recognized artists.

 

That chapter led to a collaboration with Those Guys Music, the creative trio made up of singer-songwriters Amore Jones and Steven Ashley, alongside Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer Jeremiah Adkins.

In 2016, Trae released the feel-good R&B single “End the Night,” written by Dee Perrine and produced by Those Guys Music. The record earned him recognition through Foxy 99.1’s “Spot on the Block” Artist Spotlight in North Carolina and a feature in Encounter Magazine. Building on that momentum, Trae returned to the studio to refine his sound, eventually releasing “The Door,” the first single from his debut EP, Subconscious.

Today, Trae Morris continues to evolve as an independent R&B singer, songwriter, and performer. With One Degree Entertainment guiding this next phase, his focus is on creating music, visuals, performances, and experiences that bring fans closer to the heart of his artistry.
